What is an account?
Accounts are linked to customers and define where incoming fiat payments are received. Each account includes:- A payment rail and currency the account operates on
- A verification status that gates incoming funds
Account verification
Every account must complete verification before it can receive funds. Upon creation, accounts enter a verification workflow with the following statuses:Subscribe to webhooks to receive real-time notifications when an account’s verification status changes.
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
PROVISIONING | Account is being provisioned and verified |
RFI | Request for information—additional details required to proceed |
ACTIVE | Verification complete—account can receive funds |
CLOSED | Account permanently closed |

RFI, you’ll be notified of the specific information needed. Provide the requested details to continue verification.
